I heard Coach P. on Sirius NFL this morning. He said they brought Carney back with the intent of getting some stability right away, but to also make Hartley compete for the job again... something to light a spark under him.

Carney can still kick, but let's hope we don't need any 40+ yarders to win.

The Saints will carry two kickers. When the playoffs roll around, both will be active.

Yeah was definitely nice to see the easy ones go in. I think Hartley can only hit the hard ones.

I agree. He's gotta learn the whole "devil's in the details" thing.

thats a good point. He's like the "Devery" of kicking.

Dont give him something easy, or time to think about it.

Devery has to be upside down, twisted around, and hit by two DB's to catch the ball. He'll drop a screen and catch a bomb. I love the guy.
