wwltv.com Posted on October 4, 2010 at 7:52 PM Updated today at 8:04 PM NEW ORLEANS ― Saints safety Chris Reis will have season-ending surgery on the right shoulder he injured in the second half of New Orleans’ 16-14 win over Carolina on Sunday, an NFL source said Monday night. Reis entered the game after Pierson Prioleau bruised his chest and a lung early in the second quarter. The fourth-year player out of Georgia Tech had four tackles this season, all coming against Carolina. He was inactive for the first two games. Reis has been a stalwart for the Saints on special teams throughout his career and recovered the onside kick to open the second half in the Super Bowl. DAmn that sucks. I am six months out of surgery for a torn labrum and rotator cuff. Shoulder surgeries are a *****. I am not anywhere near 100%. Hes got a long road ahead of him. Best of luck Chris.
