Saints Coaching
It might be time for Haslett to get more involved on both offense and defense if he want\'s to continue coaching for the New Orleans Saints.
I\'ll admit that the following is a stretch, but the keyword in the above quote is \" if he want\'s to...\" Does anyone here think that he would rather be the head coach in Buffalo? The Bills are the most underachieving team in the NFL right now. Like I said, a stretch, very unlikely, but something to think about.
I hear you BnB. At least he has stopped the \"I don\'t know what went wrong today\" talk, but at the time he seemed like someone who had given this team all he had to offer and realized it wasn\'t enough. In my opinion he just wants out of N.O.
Benson won\'t like to pay him some big bucks when he fires him, so maybe they\'ll come to an agreement and Haslett will resign at the end of the season. For all the conspiracy theorists out there: He isn\'t on a sabotage mission, but - in my opinion (I read that thread too, WhoDat) - he feels like he has done everything he can to make them winners. If the rest of the organization can\'t pull it off he won\'t interfere - like in the second half on Sunday when he should have had a word with McCarthy about the offensive strategy.
