this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; What has to be done to beat the girls on the road? Matchups? Playcalling? The current D-squad is much different than the first half the season. Everyone there is auditioning, so we cannot expect to be waltzing through this one ...

What has to be done to beat the girls on the road? Matchups? Playcalling?
The current D-squad is much different than the first half the season. Everyone there is auditioning, so we cannot expect to be waltzing through this one like we did against the Seahags. Does Reggie Play? Do we alter the defense to shield a now vulnerable secondary? Who's been following Dallas to know? Short week, everyone, get to work! |

Better Pass coverage and our O-line needs to stand their ground.

Turnovers.
The Saints CBs and safeties need to have a field day. Take the damn ball from any texan within a mile of the stadium. No quarter for anything with a star on a jersey... Our D needs to dominate. I get the feeling the Saints are licking their chops at the opportunity for some texas sized nationally televised on thanksgiving who dat payback. Revenge is best served chilly... it is November after all. Speaking of chilly, the vikings blow. still. The Saints O will be fine. Dallas can't stop a cool brees. |

Kitna has been unusually productive the last few weeks. 6-1 td/int and averaging 124 passer rating. Cowboys have also run 55%. Their special teams have been very productive with good returns and good coverage. Hey are missing DBS but are getting good pressure with 4. They do overload blitzes and cover the te well. They are susceptible to a fast pace as evidenced by the giants and previous to Garrett's takeover.
They have superior speed at all positions, and several defenders are pro bowlers even this season. They have holes on the oline, but doing well protecting Kitna. They run play action an Kitna is very effective with the fake, especially when they focus run first. Some of the runs were late in games well in hand, but the balance is there without the clock killing. |

1. Need Sharper back. Cant get roasted on big plays. Even though Seattle didnt score any TD's on them those 40+ yard plays hurt confidence. And Des Bryant is not so easy to bring down, and a lot faster.
2. Need Bush back. We need the dynamic. 3. Our slow to get to the QB Defense needs to rock Kitna. IF we give him all day they will pick us apart. It does not matter how good they are, Dallas and Atlanta ALWAYS give us tough games. |

Did anyone else notice how 'vanilla' our defense was last week?
Gregg Williams saved his defense and blitzes for the Dallas game. Kitna won't hit Dez Bryant bc he won't have time. Bush opens up a ton this week for us. His return is GUARANTEED. Meachem will have a big day. |

I suppose anything is possible. |
