Ya gotta be kidding, this is the first?
Why haven't we fretted and paced over the Bengals? Are we that confident that this is a sure thing that no one believes that we can go on the road to a cold, damp, windy field and get challenged? We've had a hard enough time with the bottom of the league this season, it's no wonder that we're only going to get a wild card. If WE are looking past this team, what do you think the players are doing?
The Bungles will not roll over and die. They are a very good team that's just been incredibly snake bit. Their offense is a nuclear explosion waiting to happen and they know the conditions and how to play them far better than we. They may be a home dog by 7 (10 on a neutral field, 13 in the dome) but I do not buy it for a second. Do we need the paddles, gang? |
