Ya gotta be kidding, this is the first?

Why haven't we fretted and paced over the Bengals? Are we that confident that this is a sure thing that no one believes that we can go on the road to a cold, damp, windy field and get challenged? We've had a hard enough time with the bottom of the league this season, it's no wonder that we're only going to get a wild card. If WE are looking past this team, what do you think the players are doing?

The Bungles will not roll over and die. They are a very good team that's just been incredibly snake bit. Their offense is a nuclear explosion waiting to happen and they know the conditions and how to play them far better than we. They may be a home dog by 7 (10 on a neutral field, 13 in the dome) but I do not buy it for a second.

Do we need the paddles, gang?

The Bengals are one of the most underachieving teams in the league. They have all the necessary personnel to be a legit contender but for some strange reason(coaching?), they can't put it together. I'm not chalking this game as an automatic win by any means, but I do like our chances against their slow starting inconsistent offense. Having Greer and Porter back at full strength also makes me much more comfortable. They're going to need at least 100 yards and a touchdown from Benson if they expect to win... and I think he blows. But hey... it's the NFL and anything can happen.

Everyone is entitled to be stupid, but some abuse the privilege.

All little common sense goes a long way.

I have NOT overlooked the Bengals at all. I think this is a great team..... all except for Palmer... He will be the x-factor in this game for me. If he holds onto the ball too long, or floats some of those ducks he's known to throw, our defense is going to rip him apart.

I think every team we have played this season has brought their "A" game against the defending Champs and we see heart attack football every week as a result.

I also think this has hardened our team and I feel confident we can handle just about anything, any team, any time. If we play poorly we can only blame ourselves. I've only seen this team out coached and outplayed, never overwhelmed by superior talent. So I feel confident we can win every week.

But yes the Bengals are an underachieving team, and any team can beat any team in the NFL any week.

We need sharper in the lineup to prey on palmer and turn him into the INT king, palmer usually throws into triple coverage we have to take advantage of their mistakes, do not overlook the bengals.

Bengals are one of those AFC teams that have given us problems over the last few years. Even if they have a terrible season, they seem to play well against the Saints. We better have our game face on come Sunday..

If we don't score 45 against that defense then shame on us. But after watching Dallas slice through our defense I guess you can say the same about them scoring 45 against us.

Once again..............we have a tendency to play down to the competition. If we want to get into the hunt we had better consider every team as a formidable opponent. We have been very inconsistent and need to play all four quarters like we are playing from behind.
