this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I posted this in one of my other threads. I think Ivory's our #1 back now. He brings a great combination of speed and power that our other backs don't have. PT's our best back for running the screen though. ...

Glad to see PT back, but...
I posted this in one of my other threads. I think Ivory's our #1 back now. He brings a great combination of speed and power that our other backs don't have. PT's our best back for running the screen though. Now, if Ivory could only develop as a pass catcher... wow he'd be a multiple threat

Just a tight hamstring, nothing to serious this time and shouldn't miss any game-time.
And PT made it through yesterday unscathed as far as I know. |

its something that we have to watch with ivory, every game there's a new injury could be why he could'nt stay healthy in college. his style of running ,which is great, his body just can't hold up to the beatings. i heard its a hamstring that held him out yesterday and would return next week.

I think having so much depth at running back is a good thing. They tend to get banged up a lot. So having a few good ones is important.
