13-3= wildcard
I was thinking about this today. It drives me crazy that we could end up a wild card at 13-3.A team in the west gets in with 9-7 or even 8-8.It just isn't right. You should get a privilege for winning your division but at the same time it should take more than 8 or 9 wins to do it.

??? I think if we got 13-3 it would me we marched over Atlanta to break the tie breaker which means we take the division.
12-4 with that loss being another loss to Atlanta would set us back, however if we beat Atlanta and lose to Buc's, Atlanta still takes the division if they win out the remainder. So basically all saints need to do is win out one game at a time. 12-4 or below is a no-no. |

Carolina has nothing to lose so they could play a role in determining who win's the division by becoming that trap game for em, and if ATL falls to hawks we steal the division. (only if we beat ATL) |

I am hoping that all of a sudden the Carolina Panthers become a great football team. The deck is really stacked against the Saints at this point, all the Saints can do is win out and really hope for some big help.

I'm going with Carolina helping out. They are playing better and are due for an upset. Atlanta is tapped out on talent. I don't hope for injuries on any team but they would have to remain unscathed the rest of the season. The odds of that are very low. Meanwhile the Panthers and Saints have been adjusting all season.

I think that Seattle game is a tough one for them. In Seattle and third game on the road in a row. Pretty tough

It will be a warmup game against Stl or Sea for the wildcard. The issue then is that we may have to go back to Chicago or to GB in the frozen tundra. Then whoop the Falclowns in the NFC Championship game! Now doesn't that sound fun?
