While that may or may not be true. I see it another way. I see the NFL as not having any bad teams. I see teams like the Texans beating the Bills today. I see teams like the Bengals beating the unbeaten Chiefs today.

There are no games that are suppose to be blowouts. I\'m sorry if I don\'t agree with you there, but the facts just don\'t bear your agruement out. In this league, anytime you win, no matter what the score, you had better be happy.

I think we should have played better, but you\'ve got to give the Falcons some credit for playing good ball. They also beat the Giants last week. So, it\'s not like they are not capiable of beating a good team and they will win some more games this year.

Those are facts gator. What I said was also a fact. If what you were saying was true, then the Falcons would get blown out every week. Why do you think the Giants lost to the Falcons? Why do you think the Bengals beat the undefeated Chiefs. Why do you think the Texans beat the Bills? Why are you using stats when you tell me stats don\'t matter?

No gator that\'s not what I\'m saying. I\'m saying that just because a team has a bad record it doesn\'t mean that a good team is suppose to blow them out. Look around at the games played today. If the Saints are guilty of what you are accusing them of, then so are ALL the other teams in the league. Is it so hard to acknowledge that?

I\'ll be more than happy to eat crow, but the fact is the Saints will not win a playoff game or win the Superbowl.

If you or anybody else thinks so, lets put some money on it!

Gator, you obviously gave up on this team way before now, and if you are honest you will admit that. I can go dig up the post if you like, but the fact is you told me there was no way in hell they were going to make it to the playoffs. Now, I see you are changing your tune??

Both of these are true statements. Gator, I can understand your skepticism, BUT, it\'s a win. We\'re 5-5 and we\'ve got a shot. We dug out of a big hole and found a way to win against an Atlanta team that is something like 10-3 against us in the last 13 games coming in and who we hadn\'t swept in recent memory. If you\'re gonna be mad at an ugly win then I guess Carolina should be pissed that they\'re 8-2, b/c they haven\'t won pretty yet.

Billy - you must admit that the Saints should have played better against a terrible team coming out of a bye getting ready to make a playoff run.

Still, I am really impressed by two things. First, I see heart and a never say die attitude. That\'s great and it is something we will need to have a shot at the playoffs and beyond. Second, for maybe the first time in the Haslett era the Saints coaches showed that they can change their gameplan at the half and be successful. Another great sign. Bottom line - if this team eliminates the mental mistakes (penalties, turnovers) on O, they shouldn\'t lose to many teams in this league. This was our let-down game this year, and we won it. Another first. Be happy with a win guys. Brooks will probably come out and light it up next week! Why? B/c he never plays the same twice. Expect a good game out of him next week, and for god\'s sake, be happy with a win that equates to our first sweep of the falcons in a long time.

I hear ya Gator. I didn\'t say that this team isn\'t underachieving, or that you shouldn\'t be upset with the way this team has played throughout the year. But do me a favor and be happy when they sweep the falcons and put themselves one game out of the last playoff spot after a terrible start. C\'mon. Be happy for Whodat. Need some Tang?
