I didn't get a chance to see the game, just highlights and via the internet. I'm not sure if this has been addressed either, but is it a chance that the new field led to the slow first half. If I remember right, Duece didn't do too well in the first half either. Maybe it just took a half to get used to playing a game on turf similar to the practice field. Again, no excuses, just a thought.
I'll take an ugly win over a pretty loss any day! Geaux Saints |

I was curious about that as well. I think they only had one practice on it this week, but I could be wrong. The field looks pretty cool, except for the black trails spraying everywhere when they cut.

that \"dust\" is actually little pieces of rubber, same type as they use in tires
the rubber would eventually settle and become packed in a little but i heard that the super dome was going to pull it up and put it back down in between every game so they could still support other events |

I think did have an effect. I can remember in the first quarter Duece slipping after catching a short pass and it costing him yardage. Hopefully, the picking up and puttting it down won\'t make it any worse.
