I did miss bits and pieces of the game here and there but... from what I did catch, even when Reggie motioned out on a couple of plays, there was no shadow on him. Now while the safeties and OLB did look his way, he was not doubled or assigned a spy... they just ran their defense. Colston on the other hand typically had a safety over the top and well covered. Once again though... I did miss a few series here and there.
While most teams typically give Reggie extra attention, I find that it wasn't the case last night. |
Everyone is entitled to be stupid, but some abuse the privilege.
All little common sense goes a long way. |

It's all about playing your part, and at least Reggie is willing to do it. That block last night was a huge boost for me.

Are we really heaping praise on an 8 million dollar RB because he blocked a blitzing LB right in front of him? And what about the other two players? What did he do to them? |

So if he's triple teamed on every play, and the other team blitzes, that leaves only 3 defenders to cover Moore, Colston, Meachem, Evans and Graham. Thats at least two players left totally uncovered on every play. Dayum, no wonder Brees is so awesome. ![]() |

Like I said. 15 yard average when he's in, 5 when he's out. That's worth several million right there. I was a Reggie doubted until I read that stat.
I can't speak to pt's game yesterday, but I have yet to see him play with anything less than a lion's heart. |
