Are we missing Grant???
Was Charles Grant really that important to our pressure? Maybe I need to re-evaluate my criticism of him. Him getting double teamed so much, might be why Will Smith had a pro-bowl season last year? Without pressure up front, our secondary is getting abused. Alex Brown hasn't been what I thought he would be. He is getting pushed around by 3 year tackles one on one. Heck, with his play making ability, I think Charleston should be starting anyway. I don't know. Anyone else have any thoughts on this?

alex brown stain is terrible. Ellis is actually playing pretty good. i agree we need another DE very badly. we also need a LB badly. we have people but they stay hurt. i dont understand how we have so many people that get hurt. i said it before but our team is made of glass. really frustrating to watch

Brown is better than Grant, or at least as good as. He's had a decent year.

Yeah, but the turnovers... That's what's frustrating me. We killed teams, on the t.o.d., last year, and I just can't figure out what is so different, that we aren't making big plays on defense this year. I will admit, there have been ALOT, of dropped ints, that would have changed many an outcome, but 17 plus, to - 5? That's a BIG change.

Alex brown is better than grant but he still ain't nothing special, charleston gets less reps and makes more plays than Alex brown. Maybe we will see junior in there next year, we need to address the position in the draft anyway.

On our Christmas wish list definitely should be starting upgrades at LDE, SLB and WLB. Upgrade Brown, Dunbar/Clark and Shanle and we have a killer defense. I like all those guys for the depth, but we are only as good as our weakest link.
