My sister says now she's rooting for Atlanta, because they "are the closest team left in it." I told her, I wouldn't root for Atlanta if they were playing the superbowl in my front yard.
Atlanta is going to choke. Their sports teams are NOTORIOUS chokers. Braves (ultimate chokers), Hawks, and the Bandwagoners (Falcons). No ring, except the red one around their necks, and they are still talking smack. Here's an idea, WIN IT ALL FIRST, THEN GET BACK TO ME.... As Choupique would say, Falcons are douchebags.... |

You know...when I first read that post I was thinking, "Braves...chokers?"
Then I asked this question on google..."How many world series have the Braves won?" Here's what I came up with... Three (3) - 1914, 1957, 1995 The Atlanta Braves were formally known as the Boston Braves and Milwaukee Braves. Since they have played in Atlanta, the Braves won the World Series in 1995. They played in the World Series but did not win in 1991, 1992, 1996 and 1999. Very astute observation...I had no idea that they had choked that many times and have only won 1 during modern day. |
Whether you think you can or think you can't...you're right!

Stats prove how difficult it is for the SB winners to just make it to the playoffs the next year. Either way, Saints did me proud by fighting their way through this difficult season. Wouldn't it just be crazy if Seattle won the Super Bowl after being the worse team in history to make the playoffs?!!

Not sure if I believe this but a fellow Who Dat said if Atlanta wins it makes us look more credible and The NFC South a tough division. He thinks it will lead to more media attention which might benefit us in the long run.
Problem is it goes against everything rationally sane for me to support Atlanta. |

I don't care how good Atlanta winning makes our division look. I will NEVER root for them. I would rather switch to basketball and root for the worst team in the NBA every year than to EVER root for that ****hole of a franchise.

No. We haven't. Dallas once made it 9 straight years I think and the Colts matched that this year? We may or may not make it into the playoffs the next 7 years, but we'll have as good a shot as most to do so.
