Greg McMahon and I believe he is a close friend of Payton's. Friendship aside, it's a business and I hope they do what's best for the team by letting him go.

He pretty much has to be gone. I don't think friendship will play a roll in the decision making.

I thought it was Joe Givethemgoodfieldposition? I may be wrong though. On a side note, not having Roby hurt us badly. Devery and Meachem and PT should never ever be back to receive a kickoff.

If you're blaming ST for this loss, you're in denial. Our D secondary was inexcusably bad. 90% of the loss there, 6% to the offensive line, 1% on ST and 3% on coaching.

Yes, absolutely agree, because Roby is SOOO much better on returns at running straight to the 18 yard line and then smacking into a solid wall of people and falling down. I actually like Roby, a lot, but the x's and o's of our kickoff coverage unit, and blocking, was killing us all year on returns. And that's strictly the fault of Coach Greg IWentToSchoolWithPayton. I don't think we broke a single legitimate return past the 40 all year, did we?
