New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees made it clear Tuesday that he'd like to reach a long-term contract extension with the Saints this offseason, though he didn't exactly make any demands. "I think every player's always looking for an extension aren't they? That goes for you guys too," Brees said to a group of reporters. "I've got one year left (on his current contract). And discussions have been ongoing. So we'll see how it plays out." Full article below. Pay the man.
I know this past seasons play wasn't exactly Drew-Like, but hes still a top 3 quarterback in the league, and still the best QB that this franchise has had. Plus the guy loves it in NOLA, both the franchise and the city. |

His numbers, especially turn overs, were a direct result of no running game and trying to carry the load. This is the biggest no brainer of the entire off season.

If they would have listened to him and signed LT we would have had a decent run game when things went south. Whatever he wants they need to make it so because without him we are the aints all over again.
