when reggie accepts he's a role player and not a feature back he will survive here. when he was made to carry the load it often ended in a fumble. is it he loses focus or just gets tired easy. but he always kills a drive if given the oportunity to carry the load so to speak. that said payton found a way that it works with him and its a role player. i would love reggie back like anyone else. but he has to live with what payton says. 2 to 2.5 with incentives for more per season tops.

"I know that I can be that guy to go out there and give you more than $8 million worth. I can give you $100 million worth if given the opportunity. ... Obviously, I don't think I was able to live up to those expectations from a money standpoint. It sucks, and it's disappointing."

I just don't see how Reggie can say he can be the $100 million man and perform like he has. Yes, he has made some great plays for us, and I may be wrong; but I think he has missed more than he has made.
As far as PT saying "You can talk the talk but can you walk the walk". Well PT....you sure proved you couldn't this year. |

I don't think we need either of them. They had some good plays, but I would rather find some young blood that stays healthy
