I don't know. The Packers I get, but Pittsburgh not so much. I do agree it felt different this year. I'm jealous, but not quite as much. We got a ring now...and we're going to get another one next year.

I could careless what happened in the games today; just watched them because it was football. Like years prior to our amazing year, I'm already focused to the draft and free agency.
I do have this satisfactory feeling that though we didn't make it this year[not many even make the play-offs after winning the S.B.], that we did win one before the hated Falcons. And the feeling that we did win one and have the team/coaches to compete with the championship teams for the next few years... |

It was kind of hard watching the NFC game knowing that game could've very easily been played at the Dome. Had we eeked out a win against the Seashells, that would've been just the wake up call we needed to go to Chicago and win. Even taking all of our injuries into consideration, we would've put up a big fight. No one in the league has the heart and determination that Brees has and Greg Williams would've had his defense back where it needed to be if we had won in the Wild Card round.
Oh well, enough of the what ifs. Next year I think we will see the type of dominating ball that we did in '09. Not just on offense but on deference too. Sean Payton, Greg Williams, Drew Brees & everyone else are not going to let the sting of this years early departure fade away. It will be the one motivating factor for this team next year. In 2011 we'll be under the radar and no one will see us coming. Maybe I'm too much if an optimist, but I think the Lombardi Trophy will be marching back to a New Orleans sooner than people think. |

Lol. I watched the Conference Championship today. I'll watch the Super Bowl win on Feb. 6th. Can't wait to see the ambush play again. That was the greatest play in Super Bowl history!
It just NEVER gets old!!! |
