Roaf In the Hall Of Fame?
Roaf was durable and dominant and that means he’s deserving of a spot in the Hall of Fame. Last year, Rickey Jackson became the first New Orleans player elected to the Hall of Fame on the day before the Saints won the first Super Bowl in franchise history.
There will be no repeat on Sunday since the Saints were knocked out in the first round of the playoffs. But there should be a repeat Saturday and the Saints should have their second Hall of Famer. “William Roaf was one of the greatest players in our franchise’s history,’’ Saints owner Tom Benson said. “He’s one of the greatest players to ever play his position and someone that myself and our fans have a great appreciation for. Hopefully, William will have the opportunity to join Rickey Jackson in Canton this summer.” The case for Willie Roaf in Hall of Fame - NFC South Blog - ESPN |

Roaf didn't get in this year .
I would have rather seen him get in than Deion Sanders. Sanders is overrated and was only good with the Falcons and the first year w/ the 49ers. And it is a total joke that Cris Carter didn't get in on this ballot. WTF?! |

Don't talk about Deion like that he is very deserving of the hall.He was one of the best conerbacks ever. That's why they call him Primetime.

Deion is one of the best cover corners ever Revis is no way near his league no matter how hard the media tries to overrate Revis. Deion would shut down his side of the field, he couldn't tackle but he deserves to be in the hall

Yeah, I have to agree. Sanders was one of the best at his position, ever. I can't disparage him getting into the HoF.
I remember Jerry Rice being pissed about the media saying he was the extra piece the 49ers needed to win the Super Bowl. So Sanders left the 49ers after one year to go win another Super Bowl with Dallas, and the 49ers haven't been back to the big game since. |

I hated Deion, but he was the best CB to ever step foot on a football field.
I'm pissed off Roaf didn't make it on 1st ballot. He's probably top 3 LT's of all time. That deserves 1st ballot. Chris Carter got robbed. |
