Personal Message(s) to Sean Payton
Dear Coach...
We're Sorry; at least I am from my part... You have to understand, we've waited so long for a respected winner and then you decide to move next door to he who'll not be named... Think of it this way, we're like some guy who discovered some SuperModel right before she becomes "it"... Then the modeling agency pulls us aside and says it'd look good for her career if she "accompanied" Orlando Bloom or George Clooney to the Oscars... Next is that dreaded phone ring late that evening and those ominous words "I'm gonna stay out here for a few days and see what happens; (giggles) oh that's just..." See where I'm going with this... Look we know our city stinks including its political douche bags; but it won't get better when you move... Definitely down with seeing you want the best for your family, especially kids; between Jindal, Landrieu (both), nothing's gonna get better for our schools much less region... But we want you to feel like you're a part of us; we want to STAY a winner and you're the closest we've had to that and that's a start... No one we'll love you more, cook better for you, or will lay it down for you than your beloved Saints fans... Sincerely Jeanpierre PS You have open invitation to boiled crawfish and Chicken/Sausage Gumbo as you are our Coach |
It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

Exactly. If anything, it should be the other way around. The guy coached our boys to a Super Bowl victory which has never been done before. Moving to Dallas is not the end of the world. Now if he ever decides to join the Cowboys at any capacity, then I wouldn't piss on his eyebrows if they caught on fire. Until that happens, however, he's still the best head coach New Orleans has ever seen...no matter where he lives.

His family probably feels more comfortable there than here. |

Like everyone has said its a non issue. So his family live in Texas it's not a big deal. During the season really how much time does he get to spend with them anyway.
