What will the Saints' record be for the 2011 season?

Here is the list of teams the Saints will face next season:

They will be host to:
Bears
Lions
Giants
Texans
Colts
Falcons
Buccaneers
Panthers

They will travel to:
Packers
Vikings
Titans
Jaguars
Rams
Falcons
Buccaneers
Panthers

Personally, I feel this is a somewhat brutal schedule. Of all these teams, the ones that I feel will be on the sharpest rise in terms of overall performance are the Lions, the Texans, and the Jaguars. The Rams should also improve this season and the Panthers could not possibly be any worse than they were last year.

Although I think the Saints will do well, it will be harsh if they have to face the Packers at Lambeau Field for their season opener. Just as it was harsh for the Vikings to face the Saints at the Superdome for their season opener. I really hope the Saints do not have to face the Packers in the first game of the season.

Here is my prediction of how the games will go:
Bears W
Lions L
Giants W
Texans W
Colts W
Packers L
Vikings W
Titans W
Jaguars L
Rams W
Falcons W
Falcons L
Buccaneers W
Buccaneers W
Panthers W
Panthers W

The Titans and Panthers will be in rebuilding mode which translates to bigtime losing seasons for both clubs. The same could be said for the Vikings. The Colts and Giants will both prove tough opponents for the Saints, which is why I'm glad we're facing them in our own arena. I think of the Lions and Jaguars as underrated opponents. If the Saints can sweep the Bucs and Panthers as I have predicted, I don't think there's anything that can keep them from winning the division.

Final Prediction: Saints 12-4, #2 seed in the NFC (behind the Packers, who will go 13-3).

Wait... the Bears are coming here?

Isn't this poll a little premature? Some of you just can't wait.

We've shown a tendency to blow one against teams that Charles Barkley calls "turrahbul". Plus, lots of injuries this year means lots of injuries to those same players next season. (statistics don't lie)

11-5 again, wild card, but a playoff win.

Polls are like power rankings, only more non-straight.

Not sure about next season yet, but if we address our weaknesses there's no reason we won't be the class of the NFC South and probably the NFC in general.

Our schedule is freaking brutal though. Very few patsies and a whole bunch of teams on the rise. 11 wins would be a fantastic season.

We're gonna get the defensive help we need. We'll pick our new Rickey Jackson this draft day, and get 2 or 3 sleepers you never heard of who will
burn em up, and there's gonna be that one free agent--- probably a RB, who's gonna be the two punch to Drew, and its gonna be greatness.

Labor talks will hammer something out, just before Training Camp, and we're gonna party.

14-2 and another Ring!
