Something to Ponder: Saints take worst WR pick in history
(2000-present) Chase Lyman (4th round, 2005). Here's another head scratcher from former coach Jim Haslett. Lyman entered the league with no ACL in either knee and never recorded an NFL catch in his two-year career.
Injuries plagued Lyman's football career, and he retired after tearing his ACL twice. Lyman is working in commercial real estate with Cornish & Carey Commercial in Palo Alto, California. Ouch.. glad that painful era is over.. (painful for the fans and Mr Lyman). |

I liked him. Aaron Rodgers' favorite target in college. Too bad he never worked out... I was rooting for him.

How could I forget. The man had animal parts to replace his knees. Once I read that I hoped for the best but knew it would be total failure and a wasted pick. Total waste. Why even take a chance on an injury that severe in a brutal sport. Granted, there wasn't much else out there in that round so what the hell I'm thinking was the logic.

Great receiver, no question. If healthy a late 2nd round.

Trust me... that was not the case. The moment he was drafted there was an uproar. I was voted Chase Lyman's fan club president... with very little followers.

What about Onomo Ojo? Lots of hype but no substance. The kid had a couple of stellar preseason games, then totally vanished.
