So did we get shafted with Stallworth? Afterall, the MO on him was that he is an incredible athlete who can't play a season without pulling a hamstring. I think he only got through one season at UT, and he's only been healthy for what, four weeks this season?
I'm not saying that the guy didn't look incredible at the beginning of the year. I'm also not saying that his potential isn't huge. What I am saying is that I'm concerned that the doubters were right. Any thoughts? |

My take on Stallworth is this. When he\'s on the field whether he\'s 50% or 100% he makes everyone else more dangerous. He\'s the kind of player who can make Joe Horn, Jerome Pathon, Boo Williams, David Sloan and Deuce more valuable to the Saints because no one can double team anyone on this offense. His speed and hands are one of a kind. Sure he\'s been hurt but when he\'s well he\'s hell. Few db\'s have the speed to keep up with him even when he\'s not completely healthy. If you don\'t believe me just watch him in the second half of the season. I look for him to really break out.

We definatly didnt get the shaft with Stallworth. He is the most explosive player on a team filled with fast and quick players built for turf. He is the perfect compliment to Horn. Good pick and will be a stud

Stallworth
stallworth who has been injured, played most of his senior season with a cast on his broken hand, and not just a small cast, a complete hand cast, but u have to remember, he scored in his first 4 games, 4 TD in 4 games, that is just productivity, and even better from a rookie, Also, DEUCE was also said to be injury prone in college, but look at him, he has been the spark for the saints offense, if not the offensive MVP during the first half of the season, stallworth is just flat out dangerous against any defense, 100% or not, speed kills and he has tons of it! not to mention great hands, he is an excellant pic, i expect great things from him the rest of the season, and for years to come!!!

Stallworth is a player who will prove his worth quickly. I think that as time passes the Hamstring thing will get better. A lot of fast guys pull hamstrings early on. After time and conditioning and more experience working with his body he should be alright. And when healthy who can stop him?
