My take on Aaron Brooks......
You guys are missing the boat on AB. I have figured out the reason for the 4 fumbles yesterday. They are twofold.
1. As BillyC said, it's obvious that AB doesn't like the media. So therefore the 4 fumbles were to show ESPN how little they know about picking game winners. 2. The other and most important reason for the 4 fumbles yesterday was to show leadership. He just wanted to see how many of his fellow players were paying attention. After the forth one he figured out, none were. One more thing, about all this AB being stupid. Nonsense! He's actually very smart. This being proved by the fact that he has 2 brains. One's lost and the others out looking for it! Now before somebody gets their panties in a wad, I'm just kidding. At my age it takes a while to get over a wonderful game like this one. |

My take on Aaron Brooks......
It\'s almost as if AB saw the Budweiser commercial with Leon who said his fumbles wouldn\'t have mattered if one of his teammates would have just jumped on the ball.

My take on Aaron Brooks......
My support of Brooks is officially over.
The biggest game of the season so far, Tampa was putting 8 (and 9) in the box. Tampa\'s DB\'s were basically scrubs. Tampa secondary ripe for the picking. We were at home. Brooks lays another egg. Throw some adversity and pressure in his face and he crumbles miserably. After a while a player is what he is. Somebody stop this Brooks bandwagon, I WANNA GET OFF! |

My take on Aaron Brooks......
Someone asked how he thought Brooks has progressed over the last 2 seasons. Haslett said that Brooks leads the league in pass attempts per interception ratio. He said he was very proud of Brooks decision making in the passing game. He said teams that turn the ball over don\'t win much in the NFL. He said Brooks has really improved in the passing game and throwing interceptions BUT the fumbles are killing them. Haslett said that he has talked to Brooks and let him know he must hang on to the ball. He said if not then he would be forced to make a change. He said QB\'s go through this sometimes just as running backs. He said Favre was going through it too this year. He did say that he thought Bouman could get the job done. |
