He'd be a Steve Smith type of receiver who could run; plus, plus... Get 'em out in space... He's not meeting lofty expectations; but he did set a rookie record for receptions! |

Hey, I could have sworn at USC seeing him play corner or safety now and then in a pinch but I could be wrong. His closing speed alone, he would have made a decent CB. Alex Molden made a career out of his closing speed but couldn't do much else. Reggie can also catch decent. This late in his career though, that's a lot to learn and Reggie is known for sticking with what he knows and he also trips over his own feet almost every game.

Reggie can't run through tackles - flip the script - I think he would get run through trying to make tackles. I'd give him a plus on closing speed, but then after he got there he would have to close. Let's just keep Reggie a very dangerous option in the offense: on the screen, in the slot w linebacker trailing, and in open spaces at Payton's discretion. |
