Let's also not forget last year's first-round pick in cornerback Patrick Robinson.

After reading all of these interviews and report, it certainly looks so. There's nothing wrong with that but in the third round, you like to get someone that could potentially be a starter down the road.

Everyone on ESPN and NFLN said it was a great pick at this point in the draft and a very good player. With Patrick Robinson and now Johnny we're going to have a pair of quick and very good stand in's in case Greer or Porter goes down.

Im happy with the pick its not like we are asking the kid to come in and start aside porter or greer ! He will be solid to our special teams n dime packages

They didn't draft this kid to start him. He's gonna have to prove himself on special teams, play some nickel and dime and just be depth. Robinson will be the injury backup to the starters and play the most extra DB packages. Good depth move to me.

Yeah I don't think we are asking him to come in and start at corner for us. But come in and contribute on ST's. All the while letting him develop and be a back up on D.
Who knows what he could develop into because he has speed and doesn't shy away from contact - he is an attacker like our LB that was drafted ahead of him. |

Let's not forget how sorry our special teams play was last year. Just the words:
•Sound tackler •Sheds blockers - strong hands Makes me pretty positive about this guy. |

Malcom Jenkins straightened him out on twitter. With all the injuries to the Saints secondary and the fact that NFL teams are passing more, I think that this is a good pick. Seer1:
