I could never vote for Brees although he did lead us to our first SB win. There is just something about his character that I don't like...sorry fellow Saint fans but I just can't shake it...and this last incident with what he said about the retirement thing only reinforces my position.

Yeah...he is right about today's players not being responsible for the irresponsibility of the past players...but I don't think every situation is as such. I do think, though, that it is one of those kinda things that you keep to yourself even if it's what you think or believe.

For the greatest Saint of all-time...it's a tough one with people like Deuce, Eric Martin, Joe Feiderspeil, (yes...he was a character), Danny A., Tommy Myers, Bobby (although I don't like him today...I liked him right up until the end), oh...I could go on and on if I thought about it long enough.

I voted for Archie. It is possible that Brees is the greatest...although I think S. Payton has a lot to do with his success and I do have the fact that the Chargers let him walk in favor of Rivers to support that claim..and he will definitely win this poll...but it won't be unanimous.
