I'm all for getting Ricky Back because I think he still brings something to the table. However he wouldn't stick out among our backs and probably be 4th string at best.

I honestly think we should look at back that can do what reegie could. Darren Sporles, or LT.

We have 5-6 backs on the roster as is; Mark Ingram and Pierre Thomas can run the screen game. I don't think we need to try and look for a Bush replacement, let the backs run a more traditional running game and get Graham the ball a few more times a game.

I really like CJ Gable. When he was healthy, I always thought he was their best back. Recruiting multiple 5 star running backs and injuries certainly didn't help his cause there... but I think he can be another find for us. We've had some good luck with UDFA running backs.

I think we may be good on RB's if and it's a big if they all are healthy.
How's Ivory and Pierre after surgery? Will Hamilton be healthy? I believe Ingram will be fine. Would like to see what Joique Bell can do in camp and preseason. Could be another find from a small college. |

I mean...it it conceivable that Ingram could be the next "insert whoever here". You have to be wondering in the back of your head how the Ivory situation is going to unfold...and you know exactly what you got with PT. With Moore back for sure along with Colston, Devery, Meach, this Graham kid emerging, etc...I think we still might be able to trick a few people. |

Somebody with a different skill set. PT, Ingram, Ivory, Hamilton are traditionalist, pick-a-hole, turn-it-up, break-a-tackle, and get-some-yards. We should try to find a change of pace guy real cheap. A scat-back type that can run the check down slant with a linebacker trailing. Camp will be full of young bodies. Maybe we've already got our diamond in the rough, even a return guy.
