this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; ClaytonESPN: The Texans are trying to trade DT Amobi Okoye, who at 24, is an interesting prospect for 4-3 teams. He didn't fit in Hou 3-4 [via Twitter] Could be had for cheap maybe?????...

Well here's the scoop on Amobi, Hou has been patient with Amobi but he has never panned out. Ron is right, if you are looking for run stuffers at this point you would rather but up the money and get Mebane.

I'd take him as long as I don't have to give up too much. I don't really think we "need" another run stuffer with Sed Ellis and Shaun Rogers. Maybe he can get after the QB.

Okoye is a talented kid... gotta wonder about that system he was in. Yes I know I know, good players will shine regardless of the system, but if anybody is affected by a 3-4 vs. a 4-3, it's the DT. Don't want to trade picks for him though...
