Saints resign Scott Shanle
this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I understand it. With no offseason for the young guys, it's safer to keep him. But, I hope the young guys step it up in the preseason. Shanle is solid but he's just not a playmaker. One playmaker, like Sharper ...

I understand it. With no offseason for the young guys, it's safer to keep him. But, I hope the young guys step it up in the preseason. Shanle is solid but he's just not a playmaker. One playmaker, like Sharper was two years ago, can be the difference between the Saints going to the Super Bowl again or losing to a scrub like Seattle.
