Even when I play madden and I run into a fellow who dat I torch his ass because I know hes a bum In coverage. Remember when Drew was on the cusp of breaking an unattainable record that 3rd- 29 conversion Steve Smith caught on Roman Harper, remember that OT game in Chicago and just like all.game long Pass interference on Roman Harper cost the Season? All im saying is there are other SS's that tackle just as good.and.play well in coverage ie Donte Whitner, Dawan Landry, Brodney Pool, Quinten Mikel

Look you could argue that if the pass rush and the LB play was better that Harper would be exposed to miss matches called by Williams. Yes Harper is a little slow on top end but he gets to maximium speed very quickly too. He has the smarts and is a sure tackler. In any case, Harper isn't the problem with the defense. When you have a DL that can't put pressure on the QB or a LB corp that only has one playmaker, your SS will be left exposed. ALL PLAYERS GET BEAT. There are great players on the other side of the ball getting paid too. |
