I like Harper. He's a solid player. Other players at his position were over-paid during this shortened offseason. Finding a suitable replacement was not possible this year which was only made worse by the shortened offseason. Harper is one of those players who truly benefited from the lockout. His limitations were exposed during the Seattle game to the league. He's an in the box safety. The Saints over-paid for him. But, he's good enough to get the job done.

Everyone can say what they want about Roman, but he's a hell of a safety. He's had a few stinker games (Seattle for certain) but is easily our best option moving forward. Of course there are things he can work on, and I'm sure he will, but his ball homing skills and willingness to hit helmet-to-helmet with anyone are under appreciated it seems. He got paid, and I'm glad, because he works his ass off on the field, which is more than you can hope for from most of the guys in todays league. Congratulations on the big payday Roman. Strip some more balls from AP for us, and help send us to another Superbowl. WHO DAT!
