Excellent signing. We kept a pro-bowl SS and paid him what he's worth.
I feel compelled to point out that Roman Harper got quite a bit more than Reggie Bush did? I guess GW actually does think he's one of the best players on this defense. |

I can see continuity and fail-safe planning; but don't understand committing that much unless the new CBA forces teams to spend the money... Two points... GW is an improved DC than what the Saints had, but he's been fired from other jobs for being wrong before; so citing his game balls as if they came down from the heavens is over the top... Second, yes journalist and panelist voted Harper to a ProBowl; these same people recently said that Drew Brees was not a Top 3 current player in the NFL... |

His problem as you said is top end speed, thats why he is very good at defending TE's. GW loves this guy and Harper will not forget what happened in Seattle, he will use it to get better! Everybody has bad games, it's just how you react the next time you play that shows what type of player you are. You can sit and dwell on it or you can get on the field and make sure it doesn't happen again! |

It's time to put that Seattle game behind us and move on . . . Harper has shown that he is a solid SS in the league and has done better since GW arrived in town.
The Seattle game was an example of what you get when your offense ham-strings the game plan with its inability to run the ball and stay on the field and when your top defensive man, Malcolm Jenkins - who was clearly depended upon by everyone, including Harper - is out with injuries. |
