Brees high on Sproles

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Sproles doesn't have the speed of Reggie but Reggie never could run up the middle like Sproles. I think that's what Brees was saying without saying it. Every other catergory they are about the same. Returns, fumbles, catching. There are ...

Returns, fumbles, catching. There are enough stats to make that conclusion fairly easy. Sproles would even be a better returner if they had not changed the wedge rule. Charger fans will tell you once that happened Sproles production droppped off.

Interseting note... all but 2 of Sproles' fumbles occured on kick returns.

13 fumbles in 6 years- 11 on Kick/Punt returns.

He's only fumbled twice in 6 years running and receiving.

That is interesting. Where can I find the stats on his return fumbles by year? 2009 was the wege rule change. I'm not a big stat person but am curious to know if his fumbling on returns is fairly consistent.

Not going to happen. Peyton signed two big contacts this year. One with the Colts, the other with the devil.

We will be playing a Super Bowl rematch against the Colts this year, with the Colts favored by playing at home. Then we make Peyton cry like a baby when we win.

Thanks. Nothing really jumps out except for 09 and 05 he was a rookie.

Another upside is no destactions; lawsuits, returning awards, quasi-celebrity girlfriend, tweets/comments.
