I hope Sproles is not on the NFL banned substance list. It would suck if Brees got suspended for violating the leagues substance abuse policy.

Uh yea. If coach told him too he would. Just like Reggie did when. Its not like that was Reggies idea or something. Anyhow I would take a player who can actually produce ie. not fumbling. running north and south instead of sideways, and can actually stay on the field over some fool running around pregame with a baseball bat.

I'm going to miss having Bush in the Red Zone.

Sproles gives us everything Reggie did but for less money. I'll miss what Reggie gave us in those sporadic moments, but he ended up a part time role player and Sproles fills those shoes without much drop off.

From the start, I think we put too much pressure on Reggie to be the savior of the Saints. He knew he was being paid a lot and I don't think he was comfortable that he wasn't producing and it made him do dumb things sometimes, like try to return that punt against the vikings that almost cost us the game. It was right before halftime and we weren't going anywhere... the viking punt coverage team was right in his face... on an artificial surface, that ball probably goes into the end zone. He fielded it thinking it was his responsibility to make something happen. I can't blame him for his desire, just his judgement, but that's what happens when you put that kind of pressure on someone. I wish Reggie well. He's with a team that isn't expecting miracles and I'll bet he does fine.
The good thing is that we don't play them again until 2013. He can't get revenge on us unless it's in the Super Bowl. |

I agree with the article.
I don't get bringing the bat to a football game... baseball bat at a football game really? I do think Sproles will be better for us than Reggie. I am not worried about facing him either in face he's liable to fumble twice in the game. |

And you think we need someone to carry a bat on the field? Check the stats homie. Sproles will make us FORGET Reggie Bush. |

Bush is better than Sproles... Sproles is better than Bush. Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. I'm glad Drew likes his new weapon who he's very familiar with and we finally have a legitimate KR.
Ya'll want to know something? It's Ingram time. |
