You do know what delusional means don't you? Delusional: A false belief strongly held in spite of invalidating evidence, especially as a symptom of mental illness Somehow I really don't think my response to signing a lifelong MLB (which we already have) and shifting either of them to OLB was "delusional". But then again, if I was delusional I wouldn't recognize that I was delusional, so maybe you have a point. |

And at the end of the day, it doesn't matter what you or I is interested in, but what the FO thinks. And we'll find that out in time. |

No one claimed Vilma a wash-up. He was coming off knee surgery and playing in a 3-4 defense. There were certainly questions about his future and the signing seemed risky but the kid had more upside than anything.

-The guy has been on the decline the past few seasons. -He's coming off double knee surgery. -He runs what one would have to assume in the high 4.8/4.9s now. -Rushing he passer hasn't exactly been his strong suit. Now while he has great football instincts, probably the best word describing him, the odds are stacked against him and it would not appear to be an upgrade starting him on our defense. If he were willing to sign a one year pact to come in here and backup Vilma, while rebuilding some value for the following season, sign me up. |

When we suggested moving Tatupu to OLB, what we meant was moving Tatupu to OLB. See, if we were talking about moving Vilma to OLB, we would have said "Vilma" and not "Tatupu", because Vilma's name is "Vilma", and not "Tatupu". On the other hand, Tatupu's name IS "Tatupu". So when you hear us say "Tatupu", we are referring to Tatupu, and not Vilma. So, in summary, when we say "Move Tatupu to OLB" that is not a suggestion that we move Vilma to OLB in any way, shape, or form. That's all I'm saying. |

I'm not sure we can even get him, he got cut for not taking a pay cut. He wants alot of money. I think the broncos will make a push for him. But when he plays he can cause disruptions.

I've read a couple of places that the Raiders are looking at him to backup McClain... and he may get a look in Philly as well.

Isn't it like asking Vilma to play in a 3-4 which he hated and didn't do well in and then you put him in his natural position in a 4-3 and he is a Pro Bowler.
No I don't think we need another player who wants to play only for the money. I mean I get it but that isn't us... our team seems to want players who want to play. Maybe looking for a second or new life in football. Signing players who want money is not on the agenda here... |
