Man! You read my mind. I'm about to fry some chicken right now.
I live near a LSU/Saint eatery called Zachary's. Pretty good. I could check on prices, they sell tubs of Gumbo and jambalaya. I'm also willing to cook and contribute if someone has a strike yo momma recipe. |

If it was cooler, say like 70* I wouldn't have a problem bringing my burner and pot and cooking gumbo or jambalaya or pastalaya but 100* is just a tad bit warm to cook in. We can all just pitch in and bring something.

Strato, you prefer Best Stop or Don's? I'm partial to Best Stop myself. I'm not planning on making a trip to Scott, but if someone's driving here for the game, that's a great idea!

We've got a Popeye's here in Anchorage. I may go by and get me some spicy chicken just to pretend I'm there with you guys. No Abita here, though...
Have fun, fellas. Idea: a BlackandGold.com banner for those looking for you guys, as well as bringing a little promo to the site. Alaska |

Waiting to hear where to go, and what to bring here! Hoping for a quick cold front, too....(hey, doesn't hurt to ask, does it)?
