On another note, how much does it take for a news headline related to the Saints to surpass the news threshold on NFL.com. That site is full of headlines like "what color underwear does Tim Tebow plan to wear to wrestle the starting QB job away from Orton" but nothing on Kreutz signing with the Saints?! |

I like the signing, low risk high reward. If he stinks up the joint then he's cheap to cut and if he returns to any of his former self then he's another steal by Loomis

This is a great move. If he gets back to his old form sweet. If Tennant beats him out, not bad either.

Hokie and Boobey were talking about him today and said he was a possible future pro bowler. Great move iMO. Kind of like the Sharper move in 09, an older veteran who has played at a very high level who can fill a need for a year or two until we groom a replacement.

UPSIDE?!?!?!
Upside is over-rated! You can quote me on that. I want what you can do for me now not what you might be able to do for me a year or 3 even 5 years from now. Reggie Bush technically has upside but he is gone! |
