How 'bout dem SAINTS!!!!!
So how about that win today? Were you guys sweating as much as me there late in the 4th?
I know that we got some really crappy calls today, but that is just something we should be used to. Afterall, it is a pretty regular occurance. Still, I would like to see the SAINTS cut down on the number of penalties they actually do cause. The hopeless refs bring enough hardship on our boys without our own players carelessly helping the cause. Anyway, the SAINTS are now tied only with Tampa for the 2nd best record in the league. Green Bay is the only 8-1 team and Denver can match us with a win tomorrow night. But to be cruising along at 7-2 right now aint too shabby in my book. Now, if we can just win the majority of these next 7 games like we should. Afterall, the toughest teams we'll have to face are Tampa Bay (the sweep would be sweet, but won't be a cakewalk), Atlanta (we should take this one easily if we can just control Vick a little better than last time) and the lowly Panthers with their fearsome pass rush. This is only my opinion, but I see the SAINTS finishing the regular season at 13-3, possibly 12-4, but definitely no worse that that. My next prediction is that we make it to the NFC championship game. I can only that we are are jelling enough by that time to keep rolling. Anyway, this has alreay been a great season and promises to be so for at least a while longer. I would just appreciate it a little if we didn't have quite as many close calls down the stretch as we have so far. Later and Go SAINTS, David in Houston |

I agree. 12-4 and wins over Tampa and Atlanta will help the cause. It was good to see Philly lose today so the media can get off their bandwagon for awhile.

One mistake in my earlier post -- the 49ers are also 7-2. This means that the SAINTS are at worst in a 3-way tie for the 2nd best record in the NFL (the Broncos could also match that mark with a win tomorrow night).
Not bad though when you consider that the only team that has been able to beat the Packers (best record at 8-1) is the SAINTS. Go SAINTS!!!! David in Houston |

i think the worst the saints can finish is 12-4, maybe, i think the falcons got a cheap win during the first meeting, so 14-2 here we come!!!
