Morgan looks good, I would just like to see more ball thrown his way to get a feel for what kind of hands he got. |

Roby can still get himself a spot on the team not just as a returner, but by being gunner on defensive special teams, at which he excels -- how many times does he make the tackle on punt returns? I hear his name get called a lot for that. Roby has had a real knack for fighting his way onto the roster each year, in spite of not being that great as an actual receiver, and I expect the same to happen again for him this year. If it's between Morgan and Arrington, right now I have to think Morgan gets that last slot, and Arrington's time here is done. That TD that Morgan caught from Chase was pretty much a textbook example of exactly what you look for in a receiver.

Dare I say Morgan over Devery? I know Meachem is Mr Butter Fingers himself but Devery doesn't even stretch the field with the same speed any more and drops just as many balls. Might be worth lighting a fire under both by keeping Morgan in action next week as well.
If nothing else I like the fact he's had all of 3 or 4 touches of the ball and scored twice. Not bad going. NB: Stat may have been made up as brain is a bit fuzzy after weekend. |
