They do too much stretching and weights if you ask me. Your muscles and ligaments can only be stretch so much and then they are going to give. We've all twisted a straw when we were kids and then just plucked it with our finger and it popped. I'm no doctor but to me they are over doing it. There's no reason when they excercise to have their legs bent behind them, that's not a natural poistion. When players were less sculptured and muscle bound there were fewer injuries or so it seems.

Nothing was mentioned after practice at all. I'll freak out if Coach P puts him on the injury list or makes an announcement.

OXNARD, Ca. - Saints head coach Sean Payton said that starting guard Carl Nicks had his knee examined after leaving practice early Monday. He was not able to elaborate further, but any injury to the offensive line stalwart would be closely monitored.
In addition, Payton confirmed that DT Aubrayo Franklin - a key offseason pickup - would probably be out 2-3 weeks with an MCL sprain. In addition: Two players still remain on the failed physical list – RB Chris Ivory and DE Greg Romeus. Guys that did not practice due to injury – LB Ezra Butler (left hamstring), DT Tom Johnson (left calf), CB Johnny Patrick (right knee), DE Jeff Charleston (left ankle), CB Fabian Washington (right hamstring), LB Will Herring (right calf), that was from the game and we think it will be a couple days with him. Payton: Nicks leaves practice with knee injury; Franklin out 2-3 weeks | wwltv.com New Orleans |
Everyone is entitled to be stupid, but some abuse the privilege.
All little common sense goes a long way. |

We've got a problem and I can't deny it any longer. At first I thought it was the conditioning coach or the trainers. I haven't ruled either out yet. But our doctors have misdiagnosed injuries repeatedly also. Somewhere there is an answer. It would be nice to get this figured out.

Why? Its not like this site is soooooo busy that the front page is "valuable real estate" as another douche bag site claims. I like being able to log in and see who is injured without having to sift through pages and pages on one injury thread. Its nice to be able to log on and scroll down and see whats new. If every injury gets merged into one thread I will most likely miss it, and I one thing I like about this site is that it keeps me informed. You start merging threads and it loses the appeal of being able to catch breaking news.
