I would rather Sharper..but it couldn't hurt to take a look..comes from a good D.

I could be dead wrong about this, but IMO if the Saints decide to sign Sharper it's going to be after the 1st game is over. If the same rules apply as before, Sharper would not be guaranteed an entire season salary if signed after the first week. I believe if that is still true, Sharper is going to be that veteran player who gets signed and released on an as need basis throughout the season.

I think the Saints should totally evaluate Sharpers current health and conditioning and if positive, should offer him a one season commitment...
Using him on and off again could cause discord among the corps... |

I completely agree - I think a one yr contract as a player & then a commitment as a coach. He would be a good influence & teacher for younger players
