this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I DON'T agree with this decision. Drew will be sluggish when he returns. NOT good. He needs snaps. It's not rest for the Superbowl, For GOD's sake... NOT good, I tell you... Alaska...

Remember the last "meaningless" game the Saints played? It was against the Bucs and it needlessly got some key players injuried and unavailable for the playoff game against Seattle. When you consider that an injury to Brees will have an immediate and dire affect on the Saints season, not playing him is the correct decision!! |
