Alex Brown could return to Saints

Payton confirmed that even though Brown was released, he could still return to the team on a re-structured contract. I wouldn’t count Brown out as a Saint just yet.

Alex Brown is going to be the extra player. There is little to no chance he is going to be signed before the 2nd week of the season. In week two contracts are not guaranteed, look for Alex Brown and Darren Sharper to be the 54th and 55th players on the roster.
