Is it my imagination or does Collinsworth have something against The Saints. It seems like he put the team down any chance he could and it killed him to say anything positive. At the end of the game when Drew was pushing for the comeback Collinsworth finally broke down and said some positive things. I guess he was trying to cover himself just in case we made it to OT.
Also Collinsworth has a striking resemblance to Mike Wolfe from American Pickers. He also has the same high pitched laugh and does the same schoolgirl jokes on Simms just like Wolfe does to his little chubby partner Fritz. The only difference is that one is an American Picker and the Broadcast Boy is a Nose Picker. (cleaned up version) |
