I guess it's easy for us sitting at home and calling plays after the fact. But, during the heat of the game, when you have no timeouts left to think things over, is another thing. However, I still feel that the Saints had the Pack where they wanted them - thinking run. So load the backfield as if you are going to run and let Drew run right on a quarterback keeper. The play would have worked because

1. It looks like run - you have all your running backs in there;
2. Drew almost never runs.
3. It usually works for other teams against us!

As I said before: looking back is a whole lot easier than in the heat of the game. But why SP adheres to the idea that this was the best call after looking at the film is another question.

If Drew would have kept the ball and ran it instead, it would have been the same outcome. They totally blew our line up, nobody was getting any push.

In hindsight, a play-action to Graham, or a toss to Ingram getting him around the corner, may have worked...
