Good job Emory as usual...i agree...Harper is a concern in the passing game..I hope we can get to Schaub like you say..and they don't eat us up with the run...What do we need to do to help Harper with the covering the tightends?...

Thanks Strato! I would play Harper as a LB in Nickel situations and bring in an extra DB.. That way, you can still use his run stopping ability without having the pressure of covering the TE (as much)... The Saints really need to develop a 3rd Safety

Hey Diggy !! Did you tell these guys about your prediction for the Texans last sunday?
Diggy's alright....but his predictions can be a little sketchy.
It's pretty tough to follow every team in the league, and who they played to get an accurate feel on predictions.

I've been thinking about this myself. Not comparing him to Urlacher because there isn't any comparison but Urlacher was a safety in college and moved to LB. Maybe this could be a permanent move for Harper. He's about 20 lbs light but he does hit pretty hard. He's quicker than Shanle. Just a thought. What do yall think?

Thanks TackHammer! You're right about covering everyone! LOL!! I called the Dolphins beating the Texans... truth is that my prediction was holding water throughout the game (they stopped the run, and were moving the football with balance) until Sparano closed the playbook and the Defense starting to give in the run game...hence, Texans winning. Dolphins were in the red zone alot that game and self-destructed

I think he'd make an excellent WLB if he bulks up 10-15lbs.. but having him a S is a huge liability

Maybe on certain situations like the nickle, but who would start as the SS instead of Harper? Amaya..? Abdul-Quddus..?

I don't think the Saints have the personnel at present time to move up Harper to LB, while I agree it would be nice to see him there instead of Shanle.

The Texans drove right down the field on their first two drives against Mia and both drives stalled around the 5 due to conservative playcalling. Had they converted the game couldhave gotten outta hand quickly. Worse than the 16-3 lead they took into halftime. Thats only if we are playing the what if game here...
