Yeah, I broke a couple of bones in my thumb back in the day. After the x-rays were taken, the team medic (hockey) put a cast on it and what do you know... after a while it was realized that he hadn't set the bones properly and that the bones had repaired themselves incorrectly.

Another doctor had to brake the bones once again to set them properly and put a new cast on my hand. Needless to say that there went that season, and the rehabilitation was no picnic either... it took like almost two years before all the pain I felt during even daily tasks went away completely.

That team medic was on my s**t list for quit a while.
