He's been thrust into a starting role, I'd give a little more time to pass judgement, but comparrison to Jason Davis this early, no! As for playin' off that far,he'll get the feel of the reciever's speed and when Gregg William's feels safe with him he'll let him close a little instead of playin' off.

Great, another First Round Pick that needs development!?!

First round picks should be immediate starters and definite upgrades at their positions, unless replacing HOF players

Now thats is a silly site..we could do without their insight..

For the record M.J was suspect in the beginning..i say give P.R some more time before we compare him to Jason David.

Article was weak and written by a glass half full person. Comparing him to the "Black Hole" aka "Deer in the headlights" aka "teh suck face" is absurd. It was widely known he was raw coming out of college but the athleticism and talent was there... his ceiling was sky high and we felt could develop him into a shut down corner. This is way too early to jump the gun on him and I don't see how you can blame him for giving receivers and 8 yard cushion when it's our scheme. That's what's being called genius. Jason David was always a cover 2 guy while Patrick Robinson has Antonio Cromartie type ability.

Give him time... and I think he'll be special.

So how do you feel about Deuce? He took a year to develop. I could name a million and one draft picks that weren't immediate starters and/or definite upgrades their rookie year. I think your logic is flawed and a bunch of horse poop... especially for contending teams drafting in the lower half of the first round.

I think you should just go make a sign and protest for Loomis' job in front of the Superdome everyday. It's quite apparent you think you're in the wrong profession and feel the need to gripe at every move that doesn't work out right away. I'd probably punch myself in the face if I had to sit there and watch a football game with you... I think someone like Canton or Choup would be more entertaining.

How can Loomis not doing his job even be in question here?...the man brought us a superbowl...P.R will be fine look at Karem Jackson..he was a higher first round pick at CB than P.R...I think he will be fine with more coaching and game exp...I also believe Loomis isn't alone in these making these picks..I mean who can cover Andre J. anyway?...nobody..the Giants used a no name receiver to toast Nhamdi and Dallas did the same to Revis.
