LOL.. The Georgia dome would be more appropriate for Kia Sponsorship since Kia's are Manufactured in Georgia..
I wonder why Arther Blank never slapped his Home Depot Company on there? Home Depot Dome? sounds pretty decent. But there are plenty of Choices out there, they could have Quicken Dome, CocaCola Dome, CNN Dome, Chick-Fila Dome, Arby's Dome, The Athlete's Foot Dome, Church's Chicken Dome, Popeyes Chicken Dome (yes Popeyes is sadly Headquartered in Atlanta now), Cox Communications Dome, Delta Air Lines Dome, Earthlink Dome, Equifax Dome, Georgia-Pacific Dome, Hooters Dome, Napa Auto Parts Dome, RaceTrac Dome, Sony Ericsson Dome, Rayovac Dome, SunTrust Bank Dome, Turner Broadcasting Dome, Cartoon Network Dome, UPS Dome, Waffle House Dome, Weather Channel Dome, WingZone Dome or even Aaron's Dome.. LMAO.. Thats a good run-down of all the companies headquartered or founded in Atlanta that could sponsor their Tent-dome, matter of fact it's sad as hell with all of those companies out there none of them wanted to put their name on their home Stadium.. LMAO!.. Thats just plain sad. Louisiana has some Companies that could have sponsored the Superdome yes, but not that many large or household names like in Atlanta. |

I wish it could have been a local company, the SB from what I remember was designed by LSU and Tulane engineers. It would have been a nice touch to have the La Hot Sauce SD but Benson has a lot of pull with Mercedes and went for the $$$. The state was stupid to give him full naming rights. It was built on our dime.

I'm glad it's Mercedes but still wish a local company would have had a chance. It would have been a win for La and a win win if the city got the revenue.
