Nothing To Worry About....We Are Simply Using What Works...I Remember People Saying We Depend On Colston Too Much And Look What Happened...HENDERSON, MOORE, and Big Rob All Got More Open Looks...Big Picture Is You Cant Put All Your Defensive Attention On One Man In This Offense..I'm Never Worried About Our Offense...It is and forever will be our defense that pisses me off!!!!

AND THIS WAS WITH THE Dome Patrol - They were awesome... BUT the "D" from that period could not hold a lead....

Its 1989 the date is October 8th. We are playing the cream of our division... the SF 49's.

AND I MEAN THE FORTY F--EN NINERS - Joe Montanna at QB, Roger Craig, Jerry - ****ing - Rice.

It was a hard fought game. THe Saints jump out to 17 to 3 lead!! (in the 3rd quarter)

Guess what happens?

After pecking away it is 17-17 late in the fourth. Bobby Hebert takes the team down & we get a Morten Andersen FG! 20-17 Saints lead...

Then Joe Montanna (curse the ground he walks upon - DAMN HE WAS GOOD!! - sorry I got sidetracked)....

Joe Montanna takes the Niners down the field and throws a 32 yard TD pass to Jason Taylor....

And the Niners win!! 24-20
over and over again, we used to
beat teams up, and lose on the scoreboard. yes i remember this well, homerj

I hate to say this, but we're (close your ears) --- we're the 1970's Dallas Cowboys. We even have haters now.

Don't forget the first roughing the passer call that the refs got wrong. That cost us 7 points and gave the *****cats some momentum. If they punt, possibility we go up by 17.

There really is no where to go but up for our defense......seriously though we are average and it could be worse. We don't have much talent for GW to work with. I love our FO but we are still deficient on D. You can only scheme so much.

I disagree. Will Smith, Sean Rogers, Abreyo Franklin, Jonathan Vilma, Jabari Greer, Patrick Robinson, Tracy Porter, Jonathan Casillas, Sedrick Ellis, Roman Harper, Malcon Jenkins...

This defense is absolutely loaded with talent.

I kinda of agree...but talent on paper and on the field are two different things..these guys need to play up to their billing..if they would we would be a much better D..
